I have had 4 personal trainers in my life. The 1st helped me go from 192 lbs (I'm 5'2") to a healthier weight. My 2nd trainer was Tyler, when I was in my early 40s. Not only did he get me to the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE,  he proved to be a very kind, generous, and extremely knowledgeable trainer. Tyler programmed my training to my specific needs and limitations (I have early onset arthritis and bursitis) and pushed and challenged my abilities in a healthy and conscientious manner. He knew how quickly I could get bored, so made sure to keep things interesting!

Unfortunately, due to distance, I couldn't see Tyler regularly anymore and I wish I could say I still look like this photo from when he trained me (down to 127 lbs!). Like many, I have gained the "Covid 15", so I am very much looking forward to signing up to his app so he can kick my butt back into shape!

"As a former High Performance Volleyball athlete where touching the highest is everything, Coach Vivian's expertise and guidance increased my vertical 6 inches over two testing periods and 9 inches during my time at Nipissing University.  To this day, I still benefit from the knowledge passed on from my time with Coach Vivian to live a healthy and active lifestyle."

I approached Tyler in the fall of 2019 about developing a strength and conditioning program to prepare me for the demands of a new military specialty that I was becoming a part of. At this point, I had known Tyler for several years through our work in athletics and witnessed the success of his strength and conditioning programs. After the first week of the program he wrote for me, I knew I had made the right decision to seek out his expertise. Tyler created a program that hit all of my specific job demands, while also making sure I had a well-rounded foundation to prevent injury and get me through unexpected tasks. Tyler creates programs that are safe, progressive, and interesting. Most importantly, he uses techniques that reduce unnecessary impact and focus on more than just adding weight to the barbell; something that made me rethink what fitness is. The programs he develops are part of a well-planned approach and are not randomly thrown together. Many strength & conditioning coaches just fatigue their athletes thinking that it will lead to progress; I finished my workouts feeling better than when I started and couldn’t wait to go back to the gym. Tyler is not the type of person to rest on his laurels and past experience; he constantly educates himself and seeks out knowledge from the best in his industry, reinforcing the fact that your program is not outdated. As a person with experience in the coaching sector and military, I can’t stress enough how important all of these things are. Whether you are military, first responder, athlete, or beginner; Tyler is your best choice to help you achieve your goals.

Tyler as a trainer is very professional and understanding, which makes it easy to learn and work with he understands my needs to become a better hockey player and a better athlete. Tyler is dedicated to help and always available for any concerns or questions. Tyler made a schedule that was suited for me to make things easier to keep up with I felt an overall improvement in my physical health and my performance on the ice with all the training I was able to improve my speed, agility and I felt much stronger with all that combined my hockey position as a defenceman became much easier  because I can cover more ice in a shorter length of time by getting back faster to take out opponents. I continued to work with Tyler even after the hockey season because I wanted to continue to improve myself and be ready for my next challenge. thank you Tyler for all your time and dedication.

“I became a gym rat when I started playing university volleyball 15 years ago.   However, I was not training properly for volleyball,  leading to multiple muscle imbalances and endless injuries.  I started following Tyler’s programing roughly three years ago.  His knowledge of exercise science and volleyball, in combination with his use of FMS changed the way I looked at training and has rejuvenated my body and playing career.  Tyler is always available to chat about his programming and would provide variations to his training based on circumstance, what equipment was available to me, or how I was feeling either mentally and physically during a given stage of training. The first thing to come back was my mobility, leading to less injuries, less pain and better performance; culminating at the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan, China, where, at 34 years old, was in the best shape of my life.”
